“I would be worried if I were you Sebastian,” He stated not looking up from his cup, “She makes my tea almost better than you do.” Placing the plate and tea in front of him, he immediately took a sip of the warm Earl Grey tea. You just put on a smile as you poured the tea, and made a plate of scones and biscuits for your master. But judging by Ciel’s slightly displeased look, he wasn’t happy. You made your way in the room with the cart, and as you walked in, you saw Sebastian talking to Ciel in a quiet manner. When you knocked on the study’s door, you heard the same ‘come in’ as always. With that, you made your way to his study, looking rather flustered. There it was again! Why does he sign his first name to you? It was just so odd and confusing. You shook your head and took the cart of tea straight to Ciel’s chambers.Īs you arrived at the lord’s chambers, there was a note on the door. Oddly you haven’t seem Sebastian since you woke. But Baldroy looked different from the both of them, He gave you a sly smirk and chuckled when you looked his way. When Finian looked your way, he just seemed absolutely confused. Though what was strange, as you were making the tea, and getting some scones and biscuits for your master, you kept getting strange looks from the other servants.Įvery time Mey-Rin looked at you, she looked as if at any moment she would have a nosebleed. Once you were dressed and ready, you hurried down stairs and quickly made the lord’s tea. You were about to leave, but went back to his nightstand and grabbed your notepad, bowing to the lord, and finally leaving. You nodded, getting out of bed and hurried to the door. He cleared his throat, regaining composure, “I see, you’re excused this time. When Ciel’s eye trailed down to your waist, a faint blush dusted his cheeks as he quickly unwrapped his arms. You couldn’t reach your notepad, so you moved your hands down to where his arms were firmly wrapped around your delicate waist. Why is that?” He asked, his voice slightly leaked a bit of confusion. “Good, I see that I am awake at the correct time, but you aren’t up. Do you understand?” His voice was stern, almost as if he was warning you. “That’s good to know, don’t ever wake anyone else like this. You shook your head a bit confused, since when did you wake him? How long has he been awake?! You screamed mentally. “Do you wake everyone like this?” His sudden question startled you, as your eyes found their way back to his. You blushed crimson, and finally broke his gaze by looking away. This caused a silent gasp escape from you, but as you tried with all your might to look away from his sapphire eye, you just couldn’t. You looked at the clock to see it was a quarter to seven, but when you looked back at your master he was staring right at you with his single eye. But you did see a faint smile playing at his lips. He took his hand and placed it over yours, but never opened his eyes. You were about to move your hand away, but Ciel’s hand was quicker. You lightly brushed your delicate fingers over his eyebrow and down his jawline to lightly press your hand to his cheek. You let your fingers linger over his right eye, the one he covers with a patch. A few minutes passed as you watched his sleeping form and you decided to move his hair out of his face. He looked so peaceful, almost angelic, you found it hard to tear your eyes away from him. Looking around for something to keep your mind occupied, your eyes landed on the young lord. You stared at the ceiling for quite some time, until when you looked at the clock to see only five minutes had passed. You let your eyes wonder around the room, from the closet, to the widow, and then to the ceiling. You sighed defeated and decided to wait until seven when you needed to wake him. You wanted to get out of the room quickly, but as you tried to be freed from his grasp, you found he wouldn’t budge. The fact that Ciel let you sleep, well, asked you to sleep in his room, in is bed made heat rise to your cheeks up to your ears. As you saw that dark blue-black hair, memories of the night before flooded you mind. Confusion and fear ran through your mind, so taking all the courage you had, you turned to see who the being was. And when you tried to get up, you found a pair of arms wrapped around your waist very protectively. The strange thing was, when you opened your eyes, you didn’t see the room Sebastian showed you, and said was yours. You were a maid for Lord Ciel Phantomhive. You awoke at six like you were instructed to when you took the job.
